The aim of this monograph is to examine various manifestations of rhythmization of the poetic text in futuristic poetry on the example of selected works by two outstanding representatives of Russian and Ukrainian futurism, respectively - Velimir Khlebnikov and Mykhail Semenka. The essence of the research is the analysis of poetic rhythm as a factor of form and content in the theory and poetic practice of futurism. The scope of the source material includes works from various periods of the creative work of both above-mentioned poets, and its selection depends on the authors' particular poetic concepts implemented in the texts. The monograph is a contribution to further analysis of the processes of semanticization of rhythm in poetic texts and to interdisciplinary research in the field of art history, film aesthetics and folklore research.
