The tenth volume of Dzieła literackie (Literary works) by Stanisław Przybyszewski comprises three dramas that are part of writer’s late oeuvre and were written in the time period between the years 1912 and 1927: Topiel (Deep waters, Warsaw 1912), Miasto (City, Kyiv 1914), Mściciel (Avenger, Warsaw 1927). At that time, the writer did not treat the drama as a leading form of expression, as he was mostly busying himself with his journalism work and novels, while he was also travelling through Europe.

The aim of the project is to prepare a critical edition of the works of Stanislaw Przybyszewski, one of the most important Polish writers, considered the leader of Young Poland, who also made his presence felt in German literature.
