Opis książki
"Studia Judaica", jako pismo związane z PTSŻ, otwarte jest dla autorów publikacji w ramach szeroko pojętej problematyki studiów żydowskich i judaistycznych, a więc – między innymi – z zakresu historii, literatur żydowskich, językoznawstwa, archeologii, kultury i religioznawstwa. Naszym zamierzeniem jest przedstawianie najlepszych i zarazem reprezentatywnych wyników badań wszystkich tych obszarów studiów żydowskich, które są w Polsce współcześnie uprawiane. Nasza definicja „polskiej judaistyki” obejmuje również prace tworzone poza Polską, ale traktujące o szeroko pojętej historii i kulturze Żydów polskich, zamieszczamy więc teksty zagranicznych judaistów, o ile poruszają one zagadnienia wchodzące w zakres tej szerokiej definicji. Sądzimy, że historia naszego czasopisma oraz fakt, iż wydawane jest ono przez PTSŻ, organizację statutowo zobowiązaną do reprezentowania środowiska polskiej judaistyki, upoważnia nas do występowania w roli jego głównego forum.
