This volume is a continuation of the reflections contained in the book Zagajewski: poetry talks to philosophy. This time, the authors focus on the dialogues present in Zagajewski’s work with the works of other poets, with painting and with music. Both the title and the individual texts refer to the lines from the poem W cudzym pięknie: ‘Only in another’s beauty / is there solace, in another’s / music and in other people’s poems’. The diverse research perspectives adopted here allow us to observe the multi-layered nature of the poet’s reflections, as well as the richness of the connections and discussions established in his works. The issues discussed here have not yet been comprehensively analysed by scholars of Adam Zagajewski’s work. The volume also includes articles that take into account poems published posthumously in the collection Trzy czwarte (2024). The book is aimed at a diverse readership, including literary scholars and students, as well as readers interested in poetry and its dialogue with other art forms. The accessible language of the articles and the universality of the questions raised by the poet make this volume an important read for a wide audience
