“The work concerns an important and current issue, which is undoubtedly the energy transformation of the Polish economy. The author presents a valuable contribution to the current debate by outlining an original and realistic path of achieving net-zero emissions. The work used advanced scenario analyses and located the results in the literature on the subject, which in Poland is considered to be not very numerous. […] I believe that the author realised all planned stages of accomplishing the main goal of the work and provided answers to the research questions. I highly appreciate the analytical skills of the author, who freely uses advanced quantitative methods, combining input-output analysis methods with econometric methods. […] The monograph may be interesting for policy makers and managing industrial state assets [...], it should also attract the attention of the academic community (not only economists, but also energy specialists and ecologists) and independent think-tanks due to its comprehensive approach to energy system modelling, showing the application of the innovative Multisectoral Energy Model for energy and environmental analyzes and a thorough theoretical diagnosis of the examined problem.”
