A book „First. About literature for children (and not only)” consists of fourteen interpretations of classical (A. Lindgren, T. Jansson, R. Goscinny, P.L. Travers) and less known works (S. Pennypacker, K. Ryrych, B. Waterson, H. Bosco) for the young reader. The authors use literary tools, such as ecocritics, geopoetics, thematic criticism or psychoanalysis, making the purpose of their reading revelation of the potential of personality forming in literature for children and youth, related to themes such as friendship, love, loneliness, loss or mourning.
