The module “Learning from lived experience” invites you to discover how people in different professions, people with lived experience of suicidality and students in five European countries (Austria, Hungary, Norway, Poland, and Sweden) think about their roles in suicide prevention. It is a part of ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+, an international, interprofessional educational program in suicide prevention created by European Union Erasmus+ grant partners working with ELLIPSE (E-Lifelong Learning on Prevention of Suicide in Europe). We organized a total of 50 focus group interviews with 308 participants, including 89 students from five countries (12stepsplan.com).
THE ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+ (EG+) educational program was created thanks to the effort of ELLIPSE project partners from five countries (Austria, Hungary, Norway, Poland and Sweden) under 1 KA2 Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices KA203 Strategic Partnership for higher education, co-financed by the European Union Erasmus+ programme. This book (“Learning from Lived Experience”) is a part of the ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+ educational program.
