The Jagiellonian University Press practices a "Open Access Policy to scholarly publications and research data of employees, doctoral students, and students of the Jagiellonian University", creating conditions for sharing scientific publications and research data of employees and doctoral students of the Jagiellonian University.

The purpose of the open access policy is to make the results of scientific research available openly and free of charge for all users, at the time chosen by the user, without technical restrictions. Articles published in the journal are archived at the Repository of the Jagiellonian University.
