In Poets. Exercises in Interpretation is a collection of studies devoted to Polish and world poetry. All of them are comparative in nature, in accordance with the understanding of literary comparativism as a related philological research and enriching historical and literary perspectives strategy of reading literature - native in the international context and foreign in its connections with the native one - and in correlations with art. They include author-enriched observations on the translation and reception of 19th- and 20th-century foreign poetry in Poland.
