Biography
Associate Professor, born 1978 in Krakow, graduated with distinction from the Jagiellonian University's (UJ) Institute of Polish Studies. He is currently the Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at UJ, Head of the Graduate Programme in Polish Studies (in English) and Local Co-ordinator of the "Cultural Studies in Literary Interzones" international doctoral programme, which is sponsored by the European Union and run by 16 universities from Europe, Asia, Australia and North and South America. In 2008, he received his PhD degree from the Jagiellonian University (doctoral dissertation: "Comparative Literature as an Art of Interpretation in the Context of Translation Studies").
