Biography
Ewa Stala – a graduate of Spanish Philology at the Jagiellonian University and a professor at the Jagiellonian University, she works in the Department of Spanish Philology at the Jagiellonian University. Her areas of interest include Spanish linguistics (history of the Spanish language, Spanish lexicography, and early Spanish lexicology), but also South American culture and South American Spanish. She is the author of four monographs and nearly 50 articles on these topics. She is the editor-in-chief of the academic journal "Studia Iberica."
