Biography
Iryna Prykarpatska is a Senior Lecturer with many years of teaching experience at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. She earned her PhD in Linguistics from Jagiellonian University. Her research interests lie in cross-cultural pragmatics. She has conducted research on politeness speech acts, demonstrating that their realisation is strongly influenced by cultural factors.
