Songs of the Nuns [Pieśni mniszek] (Therīgāthā) is an anthology of poetry attributed to senior Buddhist nuns (therī) who lived at the time of the historical Buddha. Because of the women's authorship, it is a unique work within the official canon of Buddhism's oldest surviving religious texts.
